I wonder why we write picture books only for children. I think we could all do with a bit of fantasy and colour around us.

I am a 26 year old girl. I enjoy writing poems and using my creativity and analytical thinking to solve problems around me. My inspiration to write children's books comes from my love for children and a desire to influence their lives in a positive way.

The innocence and fresh perspective that children provide to our lives is both fascinating and powerful. I aspire to use my writing as a means to keep their naive yet inspiring nature alive and secretly wish that not just children but adults too rediscover their worlds through my writing.
EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION
I am a Service Design graduate from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology. I spent my early life in Kolkata, India and am brought up by a single mother. My small but beautiful family of 3 have contributed greatly to who I am today. Though I didn't enjoy reading as a child, writing poetry has always been like an exciting adventure to me.
